Excavator Driver (360)

Location: County Kerry
Pay Rate: €24.00 per hour

Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Project

Crewit Resourcing is seeking experienced 360° Excavator Drivers to join active Flood Relief and Civil Engineering projects across County Kerry. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major public works including reinforced concrete structures, embankments, drainage, and flood defence schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate 360° excavators (tracked and wheeled) for excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and material handling
• Work to required lines, levels, and tolerances using drawings or GPS machine guidance (training advantageous)
• Handle materials, pipes, culverts, embankment fills, and structural components safely and efficiently
• Complete daily plant checks, report defects, and maintain machinery to a high standard
• Operate within all site safety procedures, risk assessments, and OPW safety regulations
• Support civil engineering works including drainage, culverts, embankments, and flood defence construction
• Work collaboratively with Forepersons, Engineers, and site teams

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years’ experience operating excavators in civil engineering, drainage, groundworks, or flood defence
• CSCS 360° Excavator Operator Card (essential)
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling
• Experience with GPS machine control desirable
• Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
