The role

Applicants must possess prior experience in Domestic Roofing, with a preference for experience within Ireland. Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively within a team context is essential, as the role involves coordination with 1 Electrician and a G.O for Solar Panel installation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct roofing assessments and inspections to determine the scope of work required for repairs, replacements, or new installations
• Perform roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with industry standards and safety guidelines
• Handle a variety of roofing materials, including tiles, shingles, metal sheets, and membranes, to achieve desired results
• Collaborate closely with an Electrician and a G.O. to ensure effective communication and coordination on projects
• Assist in planning and organizing roofing projects, including material sourcing, scheduling, and task assignment
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of roofing tasks
• Ensure proper disposal of old materials and debris in compliance with environmental regulations
• Safely operate and maintain roofing tools and equipment, ensuring their functionality and safety
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting safety and efficiency

Attributes and Experience

• Experienced - qualified roofer/carpenter
• Proven experience on domestic roofing projects - preferably in Ireland
• Strong knowledge of different roofing materials, installation techniques, and repair methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  

Contract Type

• Permanent / Full – Time
• 40 hours per week - possibility to work 4 days at 10 hours per day if you are interested.
• More hours are available
