HGV TECHNICIAN – BRIDGEND

We are currently recruiting for the position of HGV Technician for maintenance of our extensive fleet.  This position reports to the Garage Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and fault finding on vehicles and trailers using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure all vehicles & trailers are maintained in accordance with DVSA and manufacturer’s specifications.
• Completion of documents in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and workplace environment.
• Ensure that all relevant legislation and Health & Safety procedures are adhered to.

Required Skills

• Intuitive diagnostic skills.
• Ability to carry out PMI to DVSA standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under own initiative.

Experience & Education

• Qualified HGV Technician up to Level 3 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and repair).
• HGV Class 1 CE Licence is advantageous.
• 3 years previous experience required.

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime opportunities.

Schedule:

• 40-hour week Monday to Friday.
• Overtime as required.
