The role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for production and process engineering consisting of both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Tetra Pak equipment uses advanced PLC controls.  The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and experience of the functionality and specification of the above automation tools and processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute, plan and coordinate preventative maintenance activities, ensuring agreed performance of Tetra Pak lines such as TPMS maintenance procedures and PLMS monitoring systems
  • Reinstate lines into production according to procedures
  • Execute installation of relevant upgrades according to procedures and reinstate lines into production
  • Execute analysis and troubleshooting to resolve mechanical and automation issues
  • Implementation of a problem-solving methodology, 5S standards waste control measures, and one-point lesson on the shop floor.
  • Responsible for PPE compliance, SOP adherence, RCA and CAPA for accidents, review of safety records & OHS KPIs.
  • Maintain food safety & quality related documents on the Maintenance System
  • Promptly report and manage all discovered technical issues according to the QTIM process and when necessary escalate to the next appropriate level providing a full problem description to ensure rapid resolution
  • Work with and fault find on Tetra Pak Aseptic filling machines and Distribution Equipment
  • Experience in quality control of aseptic Liquid filling in Tetra Pak equipment.
  • Use automation tools, HMI, PLC – Siemens S7, Allen Bradley, GE – Fanuc 90-30, ControlLogix PLCs
  • Support teams to effectively apply problem-solving methodology

 

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in production engineering and TPMS systems with Tetra Pak Equipment.
  • Critical for success is to have experience and knowledge of Filling Machines, Core Engineering processes, Design Methods and tools.
  • Hands-on experience in installation and plant commissioning engineering. Knowledge from hygienic food production is desirable
  • Ability to work without supervision, have excellent, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

 

Salary: €38k - €44k (DOE)
