Position Overview: We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Support Workers to join our client's team in Wicklow. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities who may require support with daily activities and personal care needs. There are contracts available for full and part time work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and person-centered care.
- Assist people we support with personal care tasks as required.
- Support services users with their daily activities, including social activities.
- Build and maintain relationships that are built around respect and equality, promoting their individual rights and independence.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light household tasks if required.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred but not essential.
- Hold or be in the process of completing minimum QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support.
- Be in possession of a full, manual driving license, and be willing to drive for work.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development opportunities.

Salary:
€14.70 - 17.08 per hour (depending on experience)
