Job Title: IT Support Engineer

Our IT system is built on Microsoft, with additional software that enables our recruitment processes (both external and internally built). We facilitate Windows OS devices across the business, with Intune MDM managing alternative OS mobile devices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Office 365 administration, strategy and configuration, utilising the entire suite of products to full potential.
  • Provide technical support to our global, remote team, acting responsively and documenting all support activities.
  • Proactively improving our tech-stack based on reactive queries.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
  • Proactively monitor our Office 365 environment to identify and resolve potential issues before they occur.
  • Onboard new starters to our software, including setting them up, and training.
  • Ensuring cyber security initiatives are rolled out correctly, and routinely monitored, in line with the CyberEssentials certification.
  • Liasing with our approved IT suppliers to procure IT equipment.
  • Recording training videos and producing how-to guides on software.

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who has the following experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365 administration – including Exchange, SharePoint, Azure Active Directory and account administration and architecture.
  • Intune and Entra ID management & configuration.
  • Cloud experience – Azure and AWS, particularly AVD + S3.
  • Posses an in-date Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals certification, or if not, have at least 2 years Microsoft admin experience and be required to complete your Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals certification within the first month (we will put you through this).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Proven experience as a Support Engineer or similar role, preferably within the IT services industry. Previous use of a ticket system (FreshDesk, Crisp, Jira etc).
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
  • Comfortable recording training videos and producing how-to guides on software.
  • Process-orientated, comfortable following routines and SOPs to complete the job.
  • High attention to detail.

It would be advantageous if you have:

  • Ruby-on-Rails, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Wordpress development knowledge.
