- Conduct comprehensive evaluation and interpretation of project contract documentation
- Plan and assess supplier and sub-contractor enquiries
- Deliver accurate, competitive, and cost-effective valuations promptly
- Prepare and distribute contract documents to the supply chain
- Review changes in scope and complete pricing variations
- Prepare and finalize monthly progress claims
- Maintain precise records of claims prepared, certificates issued, and retentions involved
- Ensure commercial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts
- Prepare and present monthly commercial project reports
- Provide information and analysis of issues and risks as needed by management
- Manage and forecast project cash flow
- Perform all other duties related to this role
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Knowledge of commercial management within construction
- 1-3 years' electrical experience in a QS role
- A comprehensive understanding of work contracts
- Able to negotiate with clients on a professional level
- Proficient with full Microsoft package inclusive of Excel, MS Teams and MS Projects
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A working knowledge of Electrical Tenders would be a distinctive advantage
