Pre-Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse project documentation and establish a project execution plan for the proposal
• Oversee estimating, preconstruction, and business unit resources assigned to the bid project
• Prepare and conduct internal project review presentations
• Prepare and deliver presentations for client meetings
• Collaborate with designers to advance detailed design proposals
• Coordinate with the delivery business unit to form a project team
• Evaluate tender deliverables and create responses for all requirements
• Ensure project information is disseminated to the team per internal procedures
• Facilitate a thorough project review and propose alternatives for improved delivery
• Assess the construction methodology to determine program impacts and necessary temporary works
• Collaborate with the project team to develop the project schedule of works
• Plan logistics for the project and draft a logistics plan
• Connect with the supply chain to identify potential partners for specific projects
• Review the project responsibility matrix to clarify the scope for bidding subcontractors
• Evaluate subcontract proposals and perform technical/commercial comparisons for bidder selection
• Review the project control sheet and estimates with the bid manager and estimators
• Assess lifting and crane requirements, formulating a crane strategy for the project
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans accordingly
• Address other project-specific items and deliverables as needed

Requirements:

• Third level degree in and Engineering subject (Mechanical, Electrical, Construction or similar)
• 5-10 years’ experience, including 5 as a Project Manager
• Experience in Preconstruction Project Management
• Project Management experience
