We are currently seeking Finishing Foreman to join our client’s growing team on multiple high-profile residential projects across Co. Dublin and Co. Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced and motivated individuals to join a well-established team delivering top-quality homes across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of Health and Safety on site, ensuring compliance and best practices at all times.
- Monitor and manage subcontractors’ scope of works with commercial awareness.
- Track delivery programmes and key milestones, reporting weekly and taking proactive steps to prevent delays.
- Inspect works continuously on site, identifying and resolving issues swiftly.
- Oversee completion of site documentation including inductions, sign-off sheets, and the closure of issues on the DMS platform.
- Coordinate subcontractors and service providers to achieve testing, commissioning, and handover deadlines.
- Manage snagging teams to ensure timely and high-quality unit handovers.
- Complete daily allocation sheets for labour and materials.
- Take ownership of units from plastering stage through to snagging, commissioning, and client handover.
- Participate in daily whiteboard meetings and collaborate with all site stakeholders.
- Take control of snag lists, coordinating with subcontractors for effective close-out.
- Liaise with the Site Administrator, Completions Coordinator, and Sales Team, providing regular updates on unit progress.
- Ensure excellent customer service when dealing with homeowners and potential purchasers.
- Proactively address aftercare issues and escalate recurring problems to the aftercare team.
- Champion a customer-focused, best-in-class service throughout all stages of the project.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A trade background is desirable.
- Proven ability to meet challenging deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player, with the ability to also work independently.
- Capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a sense of ownership over tasks.
