After Sales Technical Representative (Automotive) – 3-Year Fixed Term
Salary: €55,000–€58,000 + bonus up to 10%
Contract: 3-year FTC (with potential to become permanent)
Location: Field & office (c. 50/50). Nationwide dealer network (~43 sites).
Reporting to: Head of Technical
Join a national automotive brand’s central technical team and become the go-to expert for a 43-dealer network. This is a high-tech role suited to a master diagnostic technician or technical specialist who enjoys solving complex faults, supporting dealers, and lifting capability across the network.

What you’ll do
-
Provide dealer technical support via the central quality system (CQS) and follow up on technical reports.

Handle technical queries (phone/email); carry out on-site support when required.

Check dealer workshops for correct use of technical information systems and processes.

Investigate, document and resolve field technical issues; compile reports to the distributor/OEM.

Feed dealer needs into the Training team; help implement campaigns and deliver network training.

Prepare and present at regional technical meetings (twice yearly).

Partner with Customer Relations, Warranty, Parts and Product teams on technical matters.
What you’ll bring
-
5+ years’ experience in a similar role (distributor or main dealer franchise).

Expertise in vehicle electronics, modern engine technology (diesel/modern powertrains) and advanced diagnostics/troubleshooting.

Clear written/verbal communication; able to turn complex findings into easy-to-read reports.

Strong organisation and stakeholder skills; responsive customer service mindset.

Solid MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Full, clean driving licence.

Brand experience welcome but not essential—a structured Technical Training Programme is in place.
