About the Role
An established civil engineering firm based in Co. Cork is seeking a highly experienced Bid Manager to oversee the tendering process for major infrastructure and civil works projects. You’ll lead the full bid lifecycle, ensuring that submissions are accurate, timely, and aligned with the client’s requirements and industry standards.
What You’ll Do

Identify and track suitable tender opportunities and PQQs

Analyse tender documentation to assess client requirements

Coordinate input from internal teams (estimating, commercial, PM, H&S)

Prepare compliant, high-quality tender responses within tight deadlines

Maintain and update bid library (CVs, case studies, templates, methodologies)

Ensure bids meet legal, compliance, and quality standards

Conduct tender reviews and post-bid feedback to support continuous improvement

Support business development initiatives and strategic tendering
What We’re Looking For

7+ years of experience in bid or tender management, ideally within Ireland or EU markets

Strong understanding of procurement processes across public and private sectors

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word & Excel)

Experience using eTenders and other procurement platforms

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)

This role is fully office-based
