Overview

Crewit Resourcing is  seeking an experienced BIM Manager (minimum 7 years’ experience) to oversee key engineering applications, including our Engineering Document Management System (currently Meridian), as well as Bentley and AutoDesk design platforms.

 

This newly created position sits at the heart of our digital engineering function.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of design processes aligned with leading industry practices for EMP and stakeholders.
  • Support the deployment of digital engineering initiatives within EMP according to our digital strategy.
  • Ensure alignment of systems and workflows to achieve and maintain ISO19650 accreditation.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for implementing CAD standards for both internal and external clients.
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Engineering Document Management System (Meridian).
  • Provide technical leadership in all areas of digital engineering, including BIM concepts, training, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage team performance to ensure delivery focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience.
  • A third‑level qualification in Digital Construction (BIM) or equivalent proven experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of how engineering organisations should manage digital design applications and associated administration.
  • Strong commercial awareness and project management capability.
  • Flexibility and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Desirable

  • Experience working in organisations with successful ISO19650 implementation.
  • In‑depth knowledge of engineering systems IT architecture, databases, and server requirements.
  • Familiarity with Revit design software.
  • A third-level qualification in the use of CAD tools.
  • Knowledge of Primtech Substation Design Software.

Location

This role is based in offices in Dublin or Cork.

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction, with at least one weekly on‑site anchor day for collaboration. All flexible arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review based on operational needs.
