Job Title: CAD Technician

Location: Duleek

A growing construction-focused organisation is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join its team. Operating across contracting, modular construction, and timber frame divisions, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality design output and support project delivery. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director.

Role Overview

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing and revising detailed drawings, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring design documentation is accurate, timely, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce drawings using in-house design software.
• Update and revise drawings in line with instructions, issuing updated versions as required.
• Liaise with factory teams, clients, and designers via phone or email to obtain necessary design details, feedback, and approvals.
• Manage CAD files, drawing registers, and drawing issue sheets.
• Monitor personal workload and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
• Assist with additional duties as reasonably directed by the Director.

Candidate Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in timber frame design is preferred.
• Knowledge of HSB within AutoCAD is an advantage but not essential.
• A degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and Revit is required.
