Car/Agri Mechanic & Industrial Diesel Mechanic

Corries, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, Ireland

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Car/Agri Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a range of vehicles and machinery, including cars and industrial diesel engines.

Also we would like to train the winning candidate to work in our busy CVRT test centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on cars, machinery, and industrial diesel engines.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct inspections and identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the workshop.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with exposure to car, agricultural, and industrial diesel engines.
• Relevant qualifications in mechanics or a related field.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be located within a 60-minute drive of Corries, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow.
