Job Title: Civil Engineer
Location: Cork, Ireland

Role Overview

Crewit Resourcing is looking for a Civil Engineer will support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day site engineering activities.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Set out works and ensure construction is carried out in accordance with design requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress against programme and report to management.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Assist with procurement and material planning.
• Prepare technical reports, method statements, and site records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and local authorities.
• Resolve engineering and construction issues as they arise.
• Support cost control and project delivery objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in civil engineering or reinforced concrete construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, formwork, and concrete works.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full driving licence.

Desirable

• Experience with ICF construction.
• Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience with surveying equipment and setting-out procedures.
• Membership of Engineers Ireland.
