CNC Operator

Location:Trim, Co. Meath

Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer to join our joinery manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up and operating CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality bespoke joinery products for commercial, residential and fit-out projects across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC routers and woodworking machinery.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
• Prepare and optimize CNC programs for efficiency and accuracy.
• Set up tooling and machine parameters.
• Monitor machine performance and production quality.
• Produce components in accordance with project drawings and schedules.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with workshop and production teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate production records.

Requirements

• Previous CNC programming and operating experience within joinery, woodworking or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Alphacam, AutoCAD, BSolid, Cabinet Vision or similar).
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

• Experience in bespoke joinery or fit-out manufacturing.
• Understanding of timber products, sheet materials and hardware.
