About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join a busy manufacturing and packaging operation in Ireland.

This role is ideal for someone with experience operating die-cutting machinery within a corrugated packaging, cardboard, print, or manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining die-cutting equipment to ensure high-quality production standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate die-cutting machinery safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret production orders, technical drawings, and specifications
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as required
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications
• Perform machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report faults promptly
• Minimise waste and maximise production efficiency
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to meet production targets

Requirements

Essential

• Previous experience operating die-cutting machines in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with corrugated cardboard, packaging, printing, or related products
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read production specifications and technical instructions
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good English communication skills
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety requirements

Desirable

• Experience operating rotary or flatbed die-cutting equipment
• Experience within packaging or corrugated box manufacturing
• Forklift licence
• Mechanical or manufacturing-related qualification
• Experience with quality control procedures
