Job Title: Digger Driver
Location: Rathmolyon Site, Trammon, Co. Meath (A83 DA36)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Payrate: 15Euro/h

We are currently seeking a skilled Digger Driver to join our team at our Rathmolyon site.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Operate and maintain diggers in good working condition (internal & external).

Conduct daily checks on oil, water, and other essential digger functions.

Report any mechanical issues promptly.

Clean under conveyor belts and maintain a tidy yard (scraping, stockpile management).

Load trucks efficiently and safely.

Follow company safety policies, including accident reporting procedures.

Attend required training sessions.

Assist in the yard as directed by the Plant Manager.

Ensure all equipment is securely stored.

Comply with company policies, including Health & Safety and Driving for Work policies.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years’ digger driving experience (preferred).

Full, clean driver’s license.

Manual Handling certification.

Valid Safe Pass.

Own transport required (site not accessible by public transport).

Skills & Abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong awareness of health & safety in site operations.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Professional and courteous when dealing with clients and the public.

Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
