Electrician – Service & Repairs
Location: Kerry Region, Ireland
We are currently recruiting an Electrician to join an established Service & Repairs team, supporting operations across the Kerry region. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering electrical maintenance and repair services across industrial water and wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical maintenance and repair work on water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations, including associated instrumentation
- Support minor automation and process control activities related to plant operations
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely
- Work collaboratively with the Service Manager to plan and deliver agreed service activities
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards on site
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of three‑phase motors, pumps, dosing systems, and associated instrumentation
- Experience working with control panels, pumps, motors, dosing equipment (including controllers), and instruments
- Ability to service, maintain, and fault‑find electrical systems, including verification of PLC input/output signals for plant control
- Familiarity with PLC systems, automation, and telemetry (advantageous)
- Knowledge of treatment processes used within the water and wastewater industry
- Good computer literacy and ability to complete technical documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified Electrician with valid electrical trade certification
- 3–5 years’ industry experience, preferably within water or wastewater treatment environments
- Full EU/Irish driving licence
