Equipping & Commissioning Lead (CATSO)

Location:  Dublin, Ireland
Contract: 12 months

Crewit Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare infrastructure organisation delivering one of Ireland’s most significant capital development programmes. We are seeking an experienced Equipping & Commissioning Lead to take ownership of equipping strategy, procurement, and readiness planning across a complex, large-scale healthcare project.

The Role

As Equipping & Commissioning Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all clinical and non-clinical equipment is specified, procured, delivered, and operationally ready in line with programme timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the overall equipping and commissioning strategy across the programme
• Coordinate equipment specifications with clinical and departmental stakeholders
• Manage equipment procurement processes, including tendering, evaluation, and contract award
• Drive value-for-money initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Align procurement activities across multiple programme workstreams
• Monitor and manage project risks, dependencies, and readiness (RAID management)
• Support commissioning readiness and contribute to Go / No-Go decisions
• Provide regular updates through project and procurement reporting systems
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners

About You

You are a proactive and detail-driven professional with strong experience in construction, healthcare infrastructure, or large-scale capital programmes.

Essential Requirements

• Degree (Level 8 or higher) in Engineering, Architecture, or Surveying, or equivalent qualification
• Chartered membership (or eligibility) with a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS, Engineers Ireland, SCSI, RIAI)
• Proven experience delivering procurement and commissioning on complex projects
• Strong understanding of construction, building services, and project delivery
• Experience working within structured procurement processes

Desirable

• Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, CAPM)
• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
• Knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks
