Skilled General Operative – Steel Fixing / Welding / Concrete

Location: Banagher, Co. Offaly 
Start Date: Monday, 13th April 2026
Pay Rate: €14.15 per hour

Crewit Resourcing is recruiting Skilled General Operatives to join on a long-term construction and industrial project. Roles available in steel fixing, welding, carpentry, concrete pouring, and plastering. This is a physical, outdoor role on an active industrial site.

Key Responsibilities

Role-Specific Duties

• Steel Fixing: Cutting, bending, and tying rebar; installing steel reinforcement

• Steel Welding: MIG, TIG, or stick welding; performing basic welding tasks independently

• Carpentry: Basic carpentry work on site

• Concrete: Pouring and finishing concrete

• Plastering: Finishing works as required

General Site Duties

• Use power tools (drills, grinders, saws) safely and efficiently

• Use measuring tools (tape measure, level) for accurate work

• Assist with general construction and industrial tasks as directed

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

For Steel Fixing roles:

• Do you have experience with steel fixing (rebar installation)?

• Have you worked with cutting, bending, and tying rebar?

For Steel Welding roles:

• Do you have experience with steel welding?

• Have you used MIG, TIG, or stick welding methods?

• Can you perform basic welding tasks independently?

For General Operative roles:

• Do you have experience with basic carpentry work on site?

• Have you worked with concrete pouring and finishing?

• Do you have experience with plastering or finishing works?
