Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Killarney, Co. Kerry (site-based with travel across the region)
Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: €55,000–€60,000 (DOE) + benefits
Reports to: Senior Construction Manager
About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive Construction Manager to lead the safe, efficient delivery of multiple site projects across Dublin and the Greater Leinster area. You’ll be client-facing, coordinating with design, production, fabrication, H&S and site management teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, to spec and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and implement RAMS; ensure all works meet site-specific Health, Safety & Environmental requirements.
- Lead and minute regular site meetings (online and in person) from inception to completion.
- Liaise with Design Management, Planning/Scheduling, Production, Fabrication, H&S and Site Management.
- Ensure delivery in line with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain consistent site presence; monitor progress, manage issues/risks and communicate with stakeholders.
- Drive high performance, Lean/continuous improvement and best value across site activities.
- Track and report KPIs, timelines and costs; support resolution of delays/variations.
- Uphold and improve processes, systems and controls; comply with ISO 9001, EN 1090 and company procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree (or equivalent) in Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 3–5+ years’ on-site experience delivering large-scale projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies and site management.
- Proven ability to manage changing workloads and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Efficient time/project management and commercial awareness; collaborative team player.
