Job Description

IT Helpdesk Technician

We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Technician to provide first-line support to clients while also assisting with some advanced technical tasks. You will work across Microsoft and Windows environments, helping users via phone, email, and chat.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to first-line support tickets via phone, email and chat, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 user accounts, password resets, permissions, and basic configuration tasks.
  • Support onboarding and training for new users on Microsoft 365 and Windows tools.
  • Monitor Microsoft 365 environments and escalate or resolve potential issues proactively.
  • Assist in troubleshooting cloud services (Azure/AWS) and perform basic network administration tasks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Document solutions, maintain knowledge base articles, and follow IT policies and security procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an IT Helpdesk or a Technical Support role.
  • Possess an in-date Microsoft 365 Certified certification, or if not, have at least 1 year of Microsoft administration experience.
  • Familiarity with basic network administration.
  • Experience with, and comfortable with; ticketing systems, talking to people, assisting and providing technical guidance to end-users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Proficient written and spoken English.
