Crewit Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager on behalf of a growing renewable energy business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation delivering solar PV installation projects and play a key role in driving operational excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, installation activities, resource planning, and project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.  
• Manage installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers while driving operational efficiency, process improvements, and productivity.  
• Coordinate with sales and technical teams to support seamless project execution, monitor progress, manage resources, and resolve operational or customer issues.  
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams through performance management, training, recruitment, and the promotion of a positive safety-focused culture.  
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through site inspections, risk assessments, RAMS management, and adherence to industry best practices.  
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, profitability, customer satisfaction, and installation quality while providing regular operational reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Operations Management, ideally within the Solar PV, Renewable Energy, Electrical, or Construction sectors.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities.
• Good understanding of Solar PV installation processes and industry regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling and project management software.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Experience within the Solar PV or Electrical industry.
• Health & Safety qualification or experience preparing RAMS and H&S documentation.
• Electrical or technical background.
• Project Management qualification.
