Production Manager 

Location:Trim, Co. Meath

Overview

The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the manufacturing process from receipt of project information through to production completion. This role focuses on preparing work orders, producing CNC programs and cut lists, developing production schedules and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the joinery manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue production work orders.
• Generate CNC programs for workshop machinery.
• Create and manage cut lists and material schedules.
• Develop and maintain production schedules.
• Coordinate workflow between design, procurement and manufacturing teams.
• Review project drawings and specifications for production readiness.
• Ensure material availability aligns with production requirements.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules where required.
• Manage workshop capacity planning.
• Drive improvements in manufacturing processes and efficiency.
• Monitor quality standards throughout production.
• Produce production reports and KPI tracking.
• Work closely with workshop supervisors and installation teams.

Requirements

• Experience within joinery, carpentry manufacturing, cabinetry or fit-out production.
• Strong CNC programming experience.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to prepare production documentation and cut lists.
• Excellent planning and scheduling experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desirable

• Experience with Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, Alphacam, BSolid or similar software.
• Project management experience.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge.
