Project Quantity Surveyor – (Construction)
Location - Shankill, Dublin 18
Job Type - Permanent
Salary - (€55k - €75k)
A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing team on a significant residential development in Shankill
. This site-based position focuses on post-contract quantity surveying duties and offers the chance to play a key role in the delivery of a large-scale, fast-moving project.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities:

Managing subcontractor packages, including processing payments and handling queries from subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants

Administering contract details for subcontractors and suppliers
-
Preparing monthly internal valuations and detailed cost reports
-
Reporting on financial performance, including monitoring budgets and managing variations
-
Ensuring tight cost control and supporting overall project delivery
-
Collaborating with site teams and project stakeholders to meet project goals
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:

7–10+ years of post-graduate experience within a PQS firm or contractor’s office
-
Demonstrated experience in residential housebuilding, with knowledge of RC frame, apartment, and commercial developments
-
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget
-
Proficiency in quantity surveying software such as Buildsoft, CostX, or similar, along with Microsoft Excel and Word
-
A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
-
The ability to manage multiple responsibilities across different workstreams
-
