Quantity Surveyor – North Dublin (Construction)

Location - Dublin

Job Type - Permanent

Salary - (€50k - €70k)

Are you a driven and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? We are currently seeking a high-calibre Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team on a full-time basis in North Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on dynamic construction projects and gain hands-on experience alongside a highly experienced Senior QS.

 

Key Responsibilities:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in a range of key project activities, including:

  • Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the management of subcontractor packages and payment processes for subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.

  • Supporting the preparation of monthly internal valuations and cost reports.

  • Reporting on budgets and project variations.

  • Maintaining accurate contractual and commercial records for suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Contributing to various commercial and cost management functions, with increasing responsibility as experience develops.

 

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering quality results. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3–5 years’ post-graduate experience working with a PQS or main contractor.

  • Working knowledge or experience of RC frame, apartment, or residential/commercial building projects (ideal, but not essential).

  • Proficiency in Cubit, CostX (or equivalent), Microsoft Excel, and Word.

  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Willingness to develop skills through training and hands-on experience.
