Section Manager – Construction
We are seeking an experienced Section Manager to join a well-established construction team based in County Dublin.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a driven and skilled professional with a strong background in delivering large-scale residential developments. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, and supporting site operations to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
Your Responsibilities

Support the Site Manager in planning and coordinating work packages and schedules

Ensure all works are in compliance with current building regulations

Take ownership of specific construction elements, such as structural frame, external envelope, and groundworks/site infrastructure

Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and internal site staff

Oversee quality control, ensuring design details are understood and implemented correctly

Lead engineering efforts on-site and manage the setting-out team
-
Work closely with the Health & Safety Officer to maintain a safe working environment

Manage logistics and coordinate utility installations across the site
Ideal Profile

Degree or Higher Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline

Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience
-
Strong experience in the residential construction sector, especially apartment and housing developments

Solid knowledge of current building regulations and certification procedures

Track record of delivering work to strict timelines and quality standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail

Comfortable working independently and within team environments

Skilled at managing multiple streams of work simultaneously

Proactive and responsible in delivering assigned objectives
