Crewit Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Service Manager to lead and develop the service department for a well-established agricultural machinery business. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for managing service operations, driving performance, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the service department
• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of service technicians and support staff
• Plan and allocate work efficiently to meet workshop and field-service demands
• Ensure all servicing, repairs, and diagnostics are completed to a high technical standard
• Monitor and improve service productivity, efficiency, and turnaround times
• Maintain excellent customer relationships, handling escalations and technical queries
• Ensure accurate job costing, invoicing, and service documentation
• Control service department budgets, costs, and performance KPIs
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, manufacturer standards, and company procedures
• Work closely with the parts, sales, and management teams

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Service Manager, Workshop Manager, or Senior Technician role
• Strong technical background in agricultural, plant, or heavy equipment machinery
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in a busy service environment
• Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with service management systems, diagnostics, and reporting tools
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full, clean driving licence
