Service Technician

Location: On-site / Field-based (UK or Ireland – depending on assignment)

Crewit Resourcing is currently recruiting an experienced Service Technician to join a well-established agricultural engineering operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who enjoys diagnostic work, repairs, and continuous technical development.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on agricultural machinery and equipment
• Perform pre-delivery inspections and machine setup
• Complete all job-related documentation and service reports accurately and on time
• Support and mentor junior technicians where required
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Work effectively as part of a busy workshop and mobile service team

Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience working in a busy workshop or service technician role
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills (agricultural machinery experience preferred)
• Comfortable using IT systems for reporting and diagnostics
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage service tasks efficiently

• Ideally experience in Claas , Horsch, or JCB
