Steel Erector
Location: Dundrum, Co. Tipperary
Pay Rate: €18/hour 
Start Date: Immediate

We are currently seeking experienced Steel Erectors to join a busy construction team in Dundrum, Co. Tipperary. This role involves the installation and assembly of structural steel components on an active site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Erecting, assembling, and installing structural steelwork to specification
• Positioning, aligning, and securing steel components using bolts, welds, and fixings
• Reading and interpreting steel drawings, erection plans, and layout details
• Working at height using MEWPs, harness systems, and other approved access equipment
• Coordinating lifts, securing loads, and assisting crane operations as required
• Carrying out fitting, bolting, drilling, and general steelwork adjustments on site
• Ensuring all works are completed to high quality and safety standards
• Adhering to all on-site health & safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Erector on structural steel projects
• Strong ability to read steel erection drawings and site layouts
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications
• MEWP, Slinging/Signalling, or Working at Heights training desirable
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated site team
